Every moment of every day happens for reason. I live, learn and let be.

EVERY START HAS A BEGINNING

My career started as an elite gymnast. My dream was to compete at the Olympics and become a “world class” coach. Unfortunately, my journey took an unexpected turn when I suffered a wrist injury involving the growth plate. Injuries can be challenging and often force us to reassess our goals and paths in life. My wrist injury shifted the course of my gymnastics career, but ultimately led me back to a path where I could support and positively impact others.

I went on to earn a double major in Sociology and Economics, landing my first corporate job shortly after. For the next 17 years, I worked relentlessly — long hours, constant deadlines, and the pressure of climbing an ambitious corporate ladder. On the outside, everything looked successful. On the inside, my body was quietly asking for help.

I started experiencing chronic health issues in 2010 and began a yoga regimen to help alleviate the stressors from corporate life. What started as relief became something far greater — an awakening of love, strength, and nourishment I didn’t know I needed.

While Eastern medicine helped, I slowly returned to my usual eating habits, including meat, dairy, and wheat. Within another six months, my symptoms began to reappear. That was the turning point. I realized that what I was eating — and how I was living — played a profound role in how I felt in my body. I began making deeper, more intentional changes, eventually transitioning to cooking 100% plant-based at home.

Mindful eating, intentional movement, and nervous-system-supportive practices became essential to my healing — and together, they allowed me to feel and move symptom-free again.

I knew I wanted to be on a path that inspired, supported, and nurtured others’ well-being — helping people reconnect with their bodies, find relief, and feel at home within themselves again.

I'M HERE FOR YOU

I’ve been actively practicing yoga for over a decade and I’m truly inspired by yoga’s transformative power on and off the mat. My practice is rooted in the gentle side of yoga — with specialties in yin, restorative, and chair — focusing on mobility, stability, and strength to meet the body where it is. My serene style of teaching incorporates asana (poses) flow with pranayama (breath work), focusing on detail and drawing upon the body’s natural capability to heal and expand from within. If we truly listen to the wisdom of the body, a safe space naturally envelops the body allowing the self to heal and strengthen through mindful breath and movement. My goal is to guide you to that safe space through a thoughtful and compassionate centered class, weaving in mindful exercises that keep you present and deeply connected to your body.
